stephen garrett dewyer co-founded ∞ mile in 2013. As co-founding editor of ∞ mile, he is responsible for leading the journal of art and culture(s). He is an artist, UX designer, full-stack web developer, Founder of Public Arts Commission and Founding Director of Art in Tech Services.
stephen’s works have appeared in national and international exhibitions. He makes environmentally-responsive installations as a part of performances, frequently using digital media.
In 2009, stephen curated the exhibition Propositions at Area 405 in Baltimore, MD. He taught art and design at several universities in Southeast Michigan including the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design, Oakland University and the University of Detroit Mercy.
stephen earned an M.F.A. in Sculpture from the Yale University School of Art in 2011 and a B.F.A. in Art History, Theory & Criticism from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 2008.
