‘jide Aje originally from Lagos, Nigeria, is a Detroit area visual artist.
His main forte is painting.  Aside from being an exhibited creator, he is also a connoisseur-consumer of art and a member/supporter of a few local and national arts and cultural organizations and creative initiatives.

The main thrust of his work mines from his cultural heritage and personal experiences.  Constant exploration, experimentation and improvisation in his practice produce a rather interesting and sometimes dazzling visual feast.

He has shown with the National Conference of Artists, Michigan, 2739 Edwin, the Hamtramck Arts Collective (HATCH), Detroit Artists Market as well as some national venues.
