Steve Hughes is the publisher of the longstanding zine Stupor.  He builds art shows at the Public Pool gallery in Hamtramck.  He also organizes the badass literary series The Good Tyme Writers Buffet.  He is not afraid to call himself a noise poet.  His band, The Stupor Sound Experience, falls over and makes a huge racket.  They just released their debut cassette "Happiness."  The latest issue of Stupor, a collaboration with Graem Whyte titled "Turning Blue," is partially funded by a grant from the Knight Foundation.
