Clara DeGalan was born and raised in Detroit, MI. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting and textiles at the University of Michigan, and a Master of Fine Art in painting at Wayne State University. In addition to her studio and writing practice, she teaches at Wayne State Univesity and Madonna University. Her research seeks to visualize a poststructuralist read of uncanny imagery that embraces beauty, technique and narrative thrust. |
