Ashley Cook is a Detroit-based artist, writer and project coordinator. She earned her B.F.A. from the College for Creative Studies in 2009 after completing residencies at Burren College of Art in Ireland and AICAD/New York Studio Program in New York City. She currently participates as a director of North End Studios, an artist-run studio and exhibition space in Detroit that was established in 2009. She actively contributes and exhibits with various creative communities throughout the city and collaborates with national and international artists and projects including Sarah Lapinski of Industrial Post, Dorothee Dupuis of Petinua and Banu Cicek Tulu and David Carlo Moreno of Nasty Neighbor.
