Erin Falker

Erin Falker is a practicing visual artist and serves as the Assistant Creative Director at The Carr Center in downtown Detroit.  After receiving her undergraduate degrees from Stanford University in Art History and Art Practice, Erin went on to receive her M.F.A. in Fine Arts from the Sam Fox School at Washington University in St. Louis.  As an artist, Erin finds that her work and method of practice has evolved from solitary creation, a practice which she still maintains, to a social, collaborative practice in which she acts as an ideological convener of different artists and talents to work jointly on a single project.  Erin has exhibited in both her native St. Louis, California and Detroit.  Exhibition credits include Sound/Video (CA), The No List (MO), Clearly Human (MO), Venus Envy (MO), The Very Thought of You (MI) and Painfully New (MI).
